ROAD TRIP SERIES: VALLEY OF FIRE!

Today’s post is going to be FIRE!๐Ÿ”ฅ Speaking metaphorically of course, because we’re going on a road trip to one of Nevada’s most symbolic state parks called Valley of Fire. It is packed full of uniquely-shaped bright red sandstone formations, which are so worth seeing in person…vivid, majestic, and a whole lot of picturesque. Are you ready? Grab your bestie (like me) and let this desert trip begin, NOW!!!

This state park is one I want to keep revisiting often, again and again because it’s so special. It’s my fourth time driving to Valley of Fire. Over these times I have collected fun photo memories and a few laughable polaroids.

Visiting the park is a MUST if you’re in Vegas and want breathtaking Insta photos. Make sure to stop and explore the well-known Fire Wave, which looks like a three colored wave. So cool! You can surf it all day long! hahaha! Plus, be sure to take a picture in front of the Arch Rock. There is plenty to see, so pack for a full day of adventure when heading to the hot fiery landmark.

It’s about an hour drive from where we live. Just perfect to warm-up my vocals in the car…hahaha. Yep, I sing my heart-out while I enjoy the surrounding views from the tiny old wooden farm houses to the endless green fields. What do you do in the car to keep everyone entertained?!

FUN FACT: The name Valley of Fire, comes from the fact that the whole valley looks like it’s on fire especially during sunset hours. I’m telling you fire attracts fire (I’m a fire sign) hahaha! Now, I know why I keep wanting to revisit this park!

If you’re interested in going there, the entrance fee is $10 per vehicle. It can get super hot in Valley of Fire, so pack lots of water. Also, be sure to have your camera in hand because everywhere you turn, there is an opportunity to capture plenty of cool scenic views.๐Ÿ‘€

Whether you’re the hiker, photographer, model or the road tripper type, Valley of Fire is the perfect destination. There is something for everyone! Each time I have visited I have discovered and seen something new. For example, one of my favorites was seeing the Seven Sisters. They are tall, rocky boulders that are seven in count and look a lot alike, hence their name. Standing between them I felt part of the sisterhood. hahaha! Also, I love the unique rock formation of Elephant Rock. You definitely don’t see that everyday and it’s really cute!

Have you been to the Valley of Fire, yet? If so, what was your favorite part?

And just like that, the hours disappeared, the sunset accompanied us on our journey home and I’m happy to share this road trip here with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride!!!๐Ÿš—

Ohhh before I forget, if you would like to see a separate blog post on stylish yet comfy outfit ideas when road tripping, let me know in the comments.

I’m already thinking of where we should go next on our road trip adventures!
