Have you heard of GLAMPING?
If you have no idea what that means don’t worry, I too found out recently. It’s a fancy style of camping, perfect for people like me who like comfort and to feel at home, yet want that connection with nature and its beautiful recharging abilities.
You’re in a spacious glamping tent, away from traffic, loud noises and free from worries. Enjoy being surrounded by tranquility, fresh mountain air and breathtaking sunrises/sunsets everyday. It’s something each one of us craves from time to time!
This was my first time giving glamping a try. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, but I was quickly convinced by my sister to take action. She had been before, and while she was telling me about her magical experience, showing me pictures/videos, I knew I wanted to add glamping to my resume (even if for one night). hahaha!

When searching online I came across Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. I fell in love with their various options of glamping. You can choose anything that suites your style like a cabin suite, a tent, a wagon or even a home. I went straight for the deluxe glamping because I wanted that experience of sleeping in a tent, but at the same time having the comfort of a queen bed. You know, all the things a fashionista needs!
I chose Zion, Utah as my destination since it’s a lovely road trip to embark on from Las Vegas. Also, since we were glamping for one night, it had to be a place that is less than four hours drive. In the end it was PERFECT!

As you can see by these photos, it was the MOST beautiful drive. We had to pass through Zion National Park because the ranch resort was tucked away up there in the quiet mountains. The light spots of rain added to the occasion, honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better day even if we tried!
I had forgotten how green some places are, it was completely opposite of Las Vegas. I mean it felt like I was back home because there was grass, trees, flowers and all the elements that remind me of Bulgaria. So picture perfect!
Look how CUTE our glamping tent was!

The Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort is pretty big, you can walk around it and discover all kinds of fun activities. You’ll see the restroom/shower facilities, swimming pool, basketball/tennis courts, gift shop, the main dining room and more. If you decide to stay for longer you can book some awesome guided tours and activities. Super great opportunities for families to bond…there is something for every age!
Breakfast is included with the stay, and it was so delicious with plenty to choose from. It was more like a buffet… you get to pick what you like. Yummy!!!

Have a look at the sunset – the whole sky was covered in burning orange and all the surroundings were just WOW! We woke up during the night, and venturing outdoors to look at the sky full of stars was one of the greatest sights. I’ll always remember it, Zion Ponderosa was an amazing experience and took my breath away!!!

Would you go glamping in style?

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Glamping truly does have that perfect blend of luxury and adventure. Seeing those pictures gives you a taste of the fancy and fun atmosphere. It’s such a unique experience, I went glamping in Jaisalmer in India it was such a cool experience being in the middle of dessert but having the comfort of bed made all the difference.
