Want to feel like you’re in the French Riviera? Then keep on reading, you’ve come to the right place!
I can’t explain how magical this road trip was. I’ve been dreaming of visiting this specific boutique hotel for the longest time, and it was more than PERFECT! Next time I will visit their sister property named Talavera Palm Springs. We heard it’s best to visit during the colder months because each suit has its own private hot tub jacuzzi. How romantic?! Just ideal for celebrating a big anniversary milestone or simply gifting yourselves with some time off.

We drove around four hours from Las Vegas to get to the Dive hotel. It’s safe to say it’s your best option if you want to get away from your kids because it’s an adults ONLY boutique resort. Also, I can’t begin to explain how Insta-Worthy it is. Everything from the rooms to the pool and lounge area. There is a cute corner for photos everywhere, so ladies bring lots of outfits…hahaha! You can see from my photos I did just that even though our stay was short (2 nights).
If you want to be alone, have the pool to yourself and get the best deal, I recommend visiting during the hottest months. We went at the beginning of July and it was freaking HOT! Thankfully we had the pool to ourselves, and keeping away from the heat in these beautifully designed rooms was just the view we needed. We stayed in “THE KING SUITE“! The long pool was literally 2 steps away from our front door. We had a lovely patio and I loved the yellow touches with pretty wall art. Let’s talk about the Insta-perfect tiny reading nook in the room. It inspired me to create one in my house!
What’s even more charming about this place is that upon your arrival you can request champagne, tasty cheeseboard, even an anniversary or birthday package. Take action guys…this is your time to fully shower her with LOVE!

I loved staying at Dive even more because the Downtown area in Palm Springs was just minutes away. It’s walkable and super fun to explore. There are so many options for buzzing bars and restaurants, funky shops and the GIGANTIC “Forever Marilyn” statue.
If you’re a fan of Greek food, I suggest having dinner at Santorini Gyro. Wherever we travel, my husband and I always find a Greek place to eat at. It has become our tradition because it’s so close to my Bulgarian roots and always so tasty. It was the BEST!

I definitely want to go back to Palm Springs because there were so many more things we wanted to do. However, the heat prevented us from exploring more of the outdoor bits. There is a beautiful garden called Sunnylands Center & Gardens (free entrance), so many vibrant wall murals all around Palm Springs, the popular Aerial Tramway which takes you all the way up to seeing the entire Coachella Valley from above. Also, if you’ve never been to Joshua Tree National Park this is your chance to make the trip there since it’s close by. I visited a few years ago and it was such a memorable trip. There is so much to explore and enjoy!
