We all know fashion trends come and go and eventually fly back into style again, and that’s exactly the inspiration behind today’s post. Have you heard?…denim maxi skirts are making their way back into our hearts and wardrobes! They are the IT-STAPLE in 2023!!!
I vividly remember when I was a little girl (probably 4 or 5 years old), my mom had this denim maxi skirt that she wore to work. I used to love seeing her wear it. She always styled it uniquely with a fedora hat and big wooden jewelry pieces. Very boho-chic! I thought she was so stylish and beautiful…I wanted to dress just like her when I grew up. Fast forward to 2023, denim maxi skirts are making a long-awaited comeback!

Look no further because a maxi skirt is the perfect item for a date look, just like the outfit above. The high slit and the body hugging fit make it so fun to dress up. And can we talk about how sexy it is! Ohhh la la show off your figure and own it. Be confident in your own skin!
I like this outfit for two reasons – it’s simple and it’s memorable. I also love the pop of the orange clutch for the spring/summer. A cute accessory like this one can really add something special to the overall result. Plus, if you’re on a first date and you don’t know what to do with your hands, it’s always helpful to have a bag with you. hahaha! It works!
2. CROP TANK TOP + SNEAKERS
This second outfit is so comfortable, I feel like it’s everyone’s cup of coffee because sneakers always make the day and feet happier. hahaha! Plus, I’m a big fan of all the fun sneaker designs out there. I love super bright ones or sneakers with cool prints and multiple colors. Can you believe it? Two years ago, I was all about the heels and never thought I would become a sneakers lover so soon. UNBELIEVABLE…pinch me if you can!
I made sure my purple sneakers popped by keeping everything else at minimum. It’s a look that would be so good to take on vacation or wear to brunch or coffee. Either way it’s perfect for a sunny day out!
3. BIKINI TOP + BUTTON DOWN SLEEVELESS SHIRT
This outfit screams summer beach vibes to me! I can’t get enough because it’s a vacation look for sure. Add a hot tan to the neon pink shirt and you’re set for the most FUN season of them all. Can you tell?…SUMMER is my favorite!!!
I think it’s super cute to pair your high-waisted denim skirt with your favorite bathing suit top. You never know, one day you might end up at a pool party and the next day somewhere in the Caribbean. You’ve got to be prepared at all times (plus a girl’s got to DREAM BIG!) hahaha!
Also, in the hot summer you can always have your shirt unbuttoned. I love that relaxed look. Any breeze you can get is extra worth it, especially here in the desert.
