Las Vegas Lifestyle

Ahhhh I’m a wifey now!

With all the excitement, emotions and everything that happened in the month of March, now I can finally sit down and share my “small, amazing, Vegas” wedding experience here with you. The BIG question is… can you get married in 2024 without spending thousands of dollars? YESSSSSS!

If you’re planning a wedding, want to have a BLAST celebrating your love with family and friends but also want to put money aside for, say, a fabulous honeymoon, then I hope you find this post helpful. I’m so happy my husband and I planned our special day the way we did. Plus, the build up to our wedding day wasn’t as stressful and chaotic as you often hear about. It was PERFECT in every way!

Let’s backtrack a little, so you get the full picture!

In October 2023 my boyfriend popped the question most girls are eager to hear when in a serious relationship. Will you marry me? From the very beginning we both knew we wanted our wedding to include only our closest family and friends. We agreed upon a beautiful venue that could also take away the stress of us organizing every single detail. Plus, budget friendly! And finally, I was determined not to spend a crazy amount of money on my wedding dress and accessories. I knew I would wear the dress only once, so I was more then happy to find everything I needed within our budget. Guess where I headed for my wedding look… straight to Amazon! hahaha!

Wonder why I chose Amazon?

Everything is just as beautiful as if I were to buy it from a boutique, but without the Las Vegas boutique prices. No one could tell I’m a walking Amazon ad, unless I told them. haha! We even purchased our wedding rings from there. I’m not into huge diamond rings, I prefer more subtle elegance, and my husband found the most beautiful engagement ring from Amazon.

When it comes to organizing a wedding, it’s all about communication and then sticking to the plan. Today I’m still so satisfied with our wedding choices!!!

One thing that isn’t from Amazon is my wedding dress. A friend of mine suggested checking out JJ’s House. When I did, I knew I hit the jackpot. Not only is my lace sleeved white dress beautiful, but I even scored it on SALE. When purchasing from there, be sure to include your measurements. Your dress can be tailored and made personal to you.

There are so many styles on there. You’ll definitely have fun finding out which design draws you in the most. For me, I wanted long lace sleeves, with an A-line design from the waist down. Our wedding was on March 16, 2024. I figured it might still be a bit chilly here in Las Vegas.

When it came time to pick our chapel and the venue for our party afterwards, it was a super easy decision to make. If you want to save money and still get great service, the best choice is one of the chapels in Downtown Las Vegas. And who doesn’t want to get married in Vegas, right?

We chose Bliss Wedding Chapel because it offered everything we were looking for. That included professional photos of us, a video of our ceremony to look back on, perfect amount of space for our guests (we had less then 30 people) and a blissful beginning to our lives as a married couple. You really don’t have to be extravagant when there is lots of beauty in simplicity and soaking up the present moment.

After the ceremony, we all headed to Crystal Hall Banquets for some dancing, food, cake, a surprise for our guests (a belly dancer), a DJ and everything we could have dreamed off. The venue is so stunning! The interior is white and gold, my favorite combination ever. It was too PERFECT!

Also, it was very stress-free on our part because we didn’t really have to do anything. The amazing owner took care of the DJ, she also had a connection with the cake place, she booked our belly dancer and made the menu picking super easy. There were zero Bridezilla moments! LOL! Plus, if you’re interested in checking them out here in Las Vegas, they do birthday celebrations, quinceaneras, baby showers and basically anything significant in your life you want to celebrate.

Another thing that comes to mind when budgeting my wedding is the fact that I didn’t have to pay for a hairstylist and a make-up artist for the BIG DAY. Find yourself a sister like mine who is good at everything…haha! She did an amazing job! The one thing I did the day before was to paint my own nails because I love doing them. Wanna know something unique? I have never been to a nail salon. I really enjoy doing my own nails and adding different designs/colors. I have my own at home nail salon studio!

Finally, I have to mention these pretty heart shaped gift sets I got for our guests. One is a personalized magnet on which you can add your wedding date and the bride and groom’s names. The other one is a little love candle which reads “Thank you for celebrating with us.” How cute right? Also, I got each guest’s name personalized on a wooden name tag. This way they could all identify their gifts at the end of the night!

I’m so happy with the way everything turned out. It was the MOST beautiful small wedding I have ever been to! haha! I keep telling my husband, I wish we could relive this day again!!!

See you at our tropical honeymoon destination! I have lots of photos and stories to share. Any guesses where it was?

  4. Congratulations!! It is like a dream. And kudos to you and your husband not to go crazy for a one day event. I use to work in the bridal industry and worked for a bridal magazine. It blew me away how much money people would spend on a wedding. Amazon was definitely not a thing back then when it came to weddings but how nice to have this option now. Loved this!!
