I love using mirrors out in nature, especially in places like Valley of Fire. When it comes to creative props for Instagram, flowers are an all-time favorite of mine. I’ll always love receiving a beautiful bouquet, but I might love taking photos with flowers even more. hahaha! They instantly add color, freshness, and a happy vibe to any photo. Plus, when I scroll back through my feed, those floral shots never fail to make me smile.

If I don’t have a fresh bouquet to hold, I love getting creative with leaves especially palm leaves (thankfully they’re easy to find here in Las Vegas!). One of my go-to tricks is using a leaf in the foreground to create a soft blur, while keeping the subject usually me in focus. It gives the photo depth and a dreamy oh la-la-la effect.
